Paraphrase of Cypher Telegram No. 620 from G.0.C. Singapore

dated 20th. November, 1915.

One Douwes Dekker who is in Hospital at Hongkong sant a

telegram yesterday to Batavia.

Frobably this man is the one mentioned by Kraft in his

first statement forwarded to you on August oth.

He was reported by Kraft as being the leader of the

Berlin Indian party in the Dutch Indies and as being the man who would procuro Dutch Eurasian passports for two Lerbers of the Berlin Indian Committee to proceed to the Dutch Indies. I have traced his movements from Aerion and sent him bogus telegram to meot Lim at Shanghai asking him to wire date of his arrival in

Singapore.

Please keep him under close supervision and if possible

deport him to Singapore.
